Evanna Lynch : Luna Lovegood Not Just Crazy

One of the characters in the film Harry Potter novels as well as of course is Luna Lovegood, one of the main character ‘s friends. And when many people consider Luna as someone who ‘ slightly mad ‘, Evanna Lynch, the actress starring this character, has another opinion.

Evanna, who joined the film since 2007 ago, felt that the character he plays is becoming increasingly important in the last film HARRY POTTER AND THE Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II. Not only that, also felt the figure of Luna Evanna growing and mature along with the development of Harry Potter stories.

“He has a very important role in this film and I’d like to show a deeper side of Luna. He knows the people around him, he saw they were very intense, ” said the blonde girl.

” I’m also happy to show how strong he is. Maybe people thought he was crazy. But not only that, he’s got an inner strength and calmness. He knows what to do, ” he continued.

Since the Harry Potter franchise has ended with the launch of her latest film, Evanna claimed to want to continue a career in acting. These girls also want to try a new world in the field of writing.

“I would be very disappointed if I do not have time to write as long as I live. Not now, because I thought I was too young to say anything, but when I’m older, I really wanted to write, ” he explained.

Emma Watson 'will return to US college'

Emma Watson has said she plans to return to America's Brown University to complete her degree.

The British actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, told The Virginian-Pilot newspaper that she remains enrolled at Brown, even though she will study at Oxford University in the autumn.

She said she intends to return to Providence, Rhode Island, next year to complete her studies at the Ivy League school.

Emma, 21, left Brown earlier this year, saying she wanted to devote her time to the final Harry Potter film and other acting opportunities.

The final chapter in the series premiered in the US last week, setting box office records.

It took in an estimated 168.6 million dollars (£105 million) in the US from Friday to Sunday, beating the previous best opening weekend of 158.4 million dollars (£98 million) for 2008's Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight.[independent.ie]

Daniel Radcliffe Admits to Alcohol Problem

'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe may play a high school wizard on-screen but he recently admitted that he also battled his demons after the director called cut. The 21-year-old divulged to GQ magazine (via People) that he has been sober since August 2010, but had previously suffered from a dangerous drinking problem.

"I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff," he said. "There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me."

Radcliffe, who is currently starring in the Broadway musical, 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' explained that his battle with alcohol first came to light on the 2009 set of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.' But no magic wand to save him here, it was only by luck that Radcliffe's addiction stayed out of the public domain.

"I really got away with that because there were so many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken," he explained regarding his visibly intoxicated bouts.

So how did the 'Potter' star turn himself around? By staying in. Radcliffe explained that it was solely by accepting the fact that he could live a "quite life" away from the glitz and glamor of showbiz, while still maintaining his role in the industry, that he was able to say enough is enough. This realization came after Radcliffe completed filming the final installment of the wizarding series, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.'

Radcliffe even skipped his latest film's premiere so as to avoid any liquid temptation and opted to sit home watching "the Discovery Channel ... [with] a bowl of Sugar Puffs."

Radcliffe has experienced both the ups and downs of his young but vast fame and going forward has chosen sobriety rather than the tumultuous lifestyle that so many young actors cannot escape.

"I'm actually enjoying the fact that I can have a relationship with my girlfriend [Olive Uniacke] where I'm really pleasant and not fucked up totally all the time ... As much as I would love to be the person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn't work for me. I'd rather just sit at home and read, or go out to dinner with someone, or talk to someone I love, or talk to somebody that makes me laugh."

Having conquered the big screen worldwide and now the stage in New York, we have no doubt that Radcliffe's star will live on long after the final Hogwarts curtain is drawn.

"A billion dollars is definitely going to happen," said Dan Fellman, head of domestic distribution at Warner Bros.

It has been 10 years since the first movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was released.

It made stars of its young cast, Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

The previous box office record for a single day belonged to The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which made $72.7m (£45m) on its opening.[bbc]
