Jon Bon Jovi Rocks Through the Pain

Jon Bon Jovi Rocks Through the Pain
If the name Jon Bon Jovi still brings to mind big hair, leather pants, and "Livin' on a Prayer," well it's time to fast forward about 25 years. The lead singer of the legendary Jersey pop metal band Bon Jovi is now nearly 50 years old and has just taken on a new gig … as an Advil spokesperson. (Hey, ever meet someone approaching the big 5-0 who doesn't have a few aches and pains?)

The makers of Advil hooked up with Jon after he injured his calf muscle while performing on stage last year and he later revealed in an interview that he relies on the pain reliever to get through the inevitable discomfort that comes with a job that frequently involves singing and dancing at stadium-sized performances.

"I'm sort of an athlete, up on stage," Jon said during a behind-the-scenes interview for the 30-second TV ad, which was shot at the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen, a community kitchen in Red Bank, New Jersey, which provides meals to those in need.

"Life's a juggling act, you've got to make time and balance everything simultaneously, and make it look easy. It's anything but easy," said the rocker

who's been married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea, for 22 years, is dad to four kids, and an avid runner.

Jon joins Regis and Joy Philbin, who shared their Advil story in October. And for you young folks who can't imagine having to deal with knee pain or back aches, just wait 30 years … when Justin Bieber realizes that he can't bop around like he used to.[omg.yahoo.com]

'Glee' Rocks for Fashion's Night Out

'Glee' Rocks for Fashion's Night Out

The season premiere of "Glee" isn't until next month -- 28 days to be exact -- but fans can find some of their fave stars from the Fox hit rocking out to a musical number now ... and it's all in the name of fashion! Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, and more strut their stuff down the runway in a new clip to promote Fashion's Night Out, the third annual event to get consumers shopping again in New York City and beyond.

Lea Michele leads a cover of David Bowie's "Fashion," while the rest of the gang shows off their dance moves, and the New Directions' nemesis, played by a gussied-up Jane Lynch, continues to yell at them through her megaphone. (Both Amber Riley and Naya Rivera are conspicuously absent, but we have to take what we can get during summer hiatus, right?)

While Gleeks are now used to seeing the cast outfitted in designer duds for red carpet premieres and its many awards shows, that wasn't always the case. As Colfer confesses to Vogue magazine, one of the sponsors of the event, he's become much more aware of his sense of style since landing the show. "When 'Glee' started, I had no idea who Marc Jacobs was. In no way was I a fashion person!" Colfer explains. "I did all my shopping at my small-town Target. Maybe if I dressed better I wouldn't have had such a hard time in school," he laughs. I bet no one would tease him about his chic style now![omg.yahoo.com]
