"Invisible Beauty"

Iman and Shala Monroque

Invisible Beauty is a documentary about African-American models and their struggles in the fashion industry by Bethann Hardison.

The event was hosted by Iman and the LVMH( Louis Vuitton) of North America, Renaud Dutrell in New York.

Iman looks like a beautiful garden in her summery printed dress. She is the only one in this world that I would let get away with wearing flats on the red carpet.

I hate to admit it but her hair and make-up is a little off tonight. Well, I guess it's a first for everything!

Shala Monroque looks awesome as always in her textured dress and Prada wedges.

Supermodels, Ubah Hassan, Lily Taylor and Jeneil Willams

Jeneil Williams looks stunning in her fuchsia plunged neck dress paired with a gorgeous turquoise necklace.

Veronica Webb looks amazing in her brick printed Sophie Theallet dress.

She completed her look with a fabulous camel belt and nude heels.

My two fashion heroes, Bethann Hardison and new Editor-in-Chief of Essence Magazine Constance White, both look fabulous.

I am looooving Bethann's white sculptural netted bodice top. It's funky as ever!

Constance opted for a chic gray pants suit paired with a yellow printed blouse.

These women always fight for equality for women of color in the fashion industry and I thank them for their dedication and hard work.

Thelma Golden is rocking a wonderful neutral printed Duro Olowu ensemble.

I simple adore the different prints paired together.

Natural hair and make-up completed her look.
