This the season for giving, and Justin Bieber pulled out all the stops for a Christmas present for his childhood friend, Ryan Butler.
"Justin got me a present. #swag!!!" Butler posted to his Twitter along with a pic of a brand-new ivory two-door Ford Mustang Convertible Sunday.
The teen popstar and his BFF grew up together in Stratford, Ontario. Butler makes a cameo in Bieber's 2009 music video for his hit, "One Time."
Despite his super-busy schedule, the 17-year-old "Under the Mistletoe" singer spent Christmas Day at home in Canada with his family -- sans girlfriend Selena Gomez. He posted a few photos of him and his two younger siblings (Jaxon, 2, and Jazmyn, 3) to his Twiter account.
"Spending time with family -- feels really good. Going to get to see these smiles on Christmas," he wrote Saturday.
"Merry Christmas from the family!" he added Sunday.[omg.yahoo.com]

No Place Like ‘Home for the Holidays’ for Justin Bieber
No Place Like ‘Home for the Holidays’ for Justin BieberAfter a whirlwind year that included the debut of his movie "Never Say Never," the conclusion of his international "My World" tour, accusations that he fathered a child (whoops, that's probably a sore spot!), and coupledom with teen queen Selena Gomez, pop star Justin Bieber headed exactly where he wanted to be for the holidays: home. On Wednesday, the 17-year-old spent the day out and about in his native Canada for some holiday fun.
First, the crooner fulfilled every hockey fan's dream when he hit the ice with the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre, then made a donation at the Daily Bread Food Bank. Later, the Biebs did what he does best and performed at the city's Massey Hall to film a TV special, "Justin Bieber: Home for the Holidays." (The full special will air for the Great White North audiences on MuchMusic and CTV on Thursday.) Justin seemed, well, right at home during the concert near his Stratford, Ontario, hometown, even bringing his little sister, 3-year-old Jazmyn, onstage for a solid five minutes. And yes, as you can imagine, it was adorable!
The show, which also featured Bieber's renditions of his new hit "Mistletoe" and oldies but goodies like "Baby," was all for a good cause. Proceeds from the sales of the heartthrob's holiday album, Under the Mistletoe, and the concert will benefit the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. He even gave an oversized $500,000 check to a few smiling kids on behalf of the organization during the festivities.
"Tonight was special," he tweeted later. "No rules. Music, family, friends, fans, charity, and music. Thank you. #HomeForTheHolidays"
Let's hope Canadian Beliebers will send Bieber back to the U.S. in 2012![omg.yahoo.com]

Justin Bieber Befriends Dads of Screaming Girls Everywhere
Justin Bieber Befriends Dads of Screaming Girls Everywhere
Justin Bieber is reaching out to an unlikely ally in a last-minute effort to sell bottles of his perfume Someday for the holidays: the fathers of all those screaming girls.
After all, as the pop star helpfully points out in a new video, it's better that they be gaga for someone that they're unlikely to encounter like Bieber than a guy they already know, right? He does have a point there! The video is one of several that fans can be included in after uploading a photo to the Someday website.
And, if you're among the many fans of the Canadian-born teen king, you'll want to make your calendar (in pink and with lots of hearts around it!) for 9 p.m. ET/PT December 21 when TLC airs its new special "This is Justin Bieber."
The hour-long show includes interviews with Biebs, acoustic versions of songs from his holiday album Under the Mistletoe, and behind-the-scenes footage of his recent trip to London, including a performance on "The X Factor UK." The network has even created a slideshow to get you pumped to watch it.[omg.yahoo.com]

Kate Middleton Named 2011's Best-Mannered Person, Kim Kardashian Slammed as "Most Ill-Mannered"
Kim Kardashian sure could use a lesson in manners from Kate Middleton.
The National League of Junior Cotillions named the newlywed royal to the top of their annual etiquette list of the "Ten Best-Mannered People of 2011," while divorcee Kardashian failed to make the list, and was slammed as the "Most Ill-Mannered" person of the year.
Compiled by the etiquette and social training program, the list ranks actors, celebrities, singers and athletes based on one's "demonstration of dignity, honor and respect," according to NLJC national director Elizabeth Anne Winters.
Praised for "the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight," Prince William's wife of eight months was the clear front-runner for this year's top spot, said Winters.
Justin Bieber (no. 2 on the list) and Paula Abdul (no. 3) were also applauded for their behavior this year, as were Taylor Swift (no. 5) and Harry Potter's Emma Watson (no. 9).
Kardashian didn't even make the list, with the group blasting Kris Humphries' reality star ex for "making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage."[omg.yahoo.com]

Justin Bieber Gives a ‘Titanic’ Surprise to His Sweetheart Selena Gomez
Last month, rumors of Justin-Selena break-up were swirling around the Internet. There were reports that Selena is too mature in comparison to Bieber and that she can't take his behavior anymore. Reports also had it that she did not like his friends and that she dumped him over the phone.
Proving it all wrong, the couple has shown it to the world many a times, that they are still going strong, and in spite of what media or people think, they are adorable together and have all the reasons to be still in love.
So what is the latest in the Bieber-Gomez life? A beautiful surprise that Justin gave Selena - perhaps one of the most romantic things a girl can possibly dream of.
A TMZ report said that he surprised his lady love Selena Gomez when he booked the entire Staples Center in L.A. for a screening of the movie "Titanic"... just for the two of them.
Sources close to Justin said that Bieber planned for the surprise after watching the movie "Mr. Deeds" -- where Adam Sandler surprises Winona Ryder with a date at Madison Square Garden.
So how did the romantic date of the most followed teen-age singer couple go?
Justin took Selena to the Demi Lovato concert at neighboring Nokia Theater and later took her underground to Staples Center to watch the legendary love story of Rose and Jack that had captured the hearts of the people in the 1990s.
Guess what the best part of the evening for Bieber was (of course, apart from the fact that he had Selena by his side)? He didn't have to pay a penny for Staples!
Since he had sold out the venue three times, and it was empty at that time, they simply gave it to him for free, the report said.[ibtimes.com]

Justin and Selena Get Booed
When you're the most famous couple in the world, dinner and a movie can quickly turn into chaos. Case in point: a color-coordinated Selena Gomez, in a sparkly LBD, and boyfriend Justin Bieber, donning a black suit, were mobbed by the paparazzi while leaving Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
The couple dined at the restaurant the same night they caught the premiere of Taylor Lautner's movie "Abduction" at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. But they didn't receive a very warm welcome from the crowd, who booed them for shying away from the red carpet. While Selena, 19, posed for a few photographs before heading into the theater, Justin, 17, dared to skip the red carpet altogether!
Sigh. Doesn't anyone understand that sometimes a guy and a gal just want a date night to themselves?[omg.yahoo.com ]

Justin Bieber Wears Women's Jeans
Justin Bieber Wears Women's Jeans
Oh, Justin Bieber haters are going to love this one! The "Baby" singer revealed to Life & Style at Dolce & Gabbana's Fashion's Night Out event in NYC Thursday night that there's a reason his jeans fit in all the right places.
"I've worn women's jeans before because they fit me," Justin, 17, explained. "It's not a trend; it's just, whatever works, works."
And trust him -- the Biebs knows style. Need proof? Not just anyone can count Vogue editor Anna Wintour, or Justin's professed style icon, Kanye West, among their friends. In fact, he might have hatched the idea to try shopping in the other department after watching rapper West don a women's sweater.
"It wasn't [so he'd] look like a woman in a sweater; it was just a regular sweater that happened to be a woman's," Justin said.
Of course, the magazine just had to inquire about his relationship with teen queen Selena Gomez, too. When asked about the possibility of marriage, Justin said, "I feel like if it happens, it happens. Right now I'm just focusing on my music, and I feel like it's going pretty well," he confessed.
Um, if by "pretty well," he means phenomenally successful, then yes, I'd say so![omg.yahoo.com]

Selena Gomez won’t wear Someday perfume, jealous of Bieber’s fans
Justin Bieber has just released his new fragrance, Someday, but apparently you won’t catch his girlfriend, Selena Gomez wearing it anytime soon!
In fact, she claims that the scent was created for his fans and doesn’t want to wear it. Reportedly, the teen singer is giving away the new fragrance to every woman he knows, but Selena doesn’t want to smell like all of his fans.
A source said, “Selena has got a bottle but she stopped wearing it when she realized Justin’s mother was wearing it too. Selena doesn’t want to smell like Justin’s mom and she feels the scent is more for his fans anyway.”
Recent reports suggested that the Disney starlet is jealous of the attention that Justin gets from his large fan base. One snitch said, “Selena has become more and more insecure because of the way Justin is with his fans. Justin is a real flirt and loves the attention. While he tells Selena there’s nothing in it, she can’t help but feel upset about it and she told him so.”
I can imagine I’d see her point on the perfume, though. Could you imagine wearing the same fragrance as your boyfriend’s mother? That would be awkward, wouldn’t it?[thejustinbiebershrine.com]

Ben Affleck Vs. Justin Bieber : Who Rocks The Shag Better?
Ben Affleck grew his hair out and styled it almost exactly like Justin Bieber’s mane for a movie role — but who looks best with the straightened long locks?
Ben Affleck is sporting a retro ‘do for an upcoming political thriller, Argo, which is set in 1981 — and we couldn’t help but compare him to the one and only hair trendsetter of today, Justin Bieber. When it comes to shaggy locks, who do YOU think looks best?
We have to admit, it’s bizarre seeing Ben, a 38-year-old father of two, trying out what’s become a tween trend. That said, in the battle of long, straightened hair, we give it over to the 17-year-old rockstar.[hollywoodlife.com]

Justin Bieber's Birthday Surprise for Selena
Pop star Justin Bieber has made it clear that Selena Gomez is his "Favorite Girl." On Sunday, the teen heartthrob gave his girlfriend a late birthday surprise -- the big day was actually on Friday, July 22 -- during her concert in Costa Mesa, California, as he took the stage himself and sang Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River." The song's about a breakup, but maybe the tune has a special meaning for the couple? Despite the lyrics, Selena, who turned 19, was obviously shocked -- in a good way!
The appearance was only part of Selena's special weekend. Two days earlier, she and Justin were spotted at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, during the day and dining out at Geisha House in Hollywood at night.
In case you had any remaining doubts that he's the perfect boyfriend, JBiebs even sent some sweet messages about Selena via Twitter. "Happy Birthday @SelenaGomez gonna be a special day," he tweeted on Friday. He topped it all off on Sunday after the show: "@selenagomez u did great tonight. proud of u." Aww! I know young love rarely lasts, but I can't help but root for these two. What about you? [omg.yahoo.com]

Selena Gomez Birthday Party Plans!
EventNow reports Selena Gomez birthday party plans that will be taking place on Friday, as the birthday girl will be celebrating her 19th birthday and we are assuming that there are big plans in store for this celebration, and maybe they might include her flame and longtime boyfriend Justin Bieber in the plans, but the birthday girls seems not to agree with us.
Usually when you are getting older, you try to have these big birthday celebrations hosted at a well-known venue like a nightclub or cocktail lounge, with all your closest family and friend attending, having a famous DJ turning the spin tables and playing the most current hit songs and all of your guests dancing, while they are enjoying drinks and tasty finger foods that the bartending and catering staff has prepared, and last but definitely not least, having a beautiful, colorful cake in all shapes and sizes, rolling out with sparkles and candles all over the creation, to end the festivities and to satisfy all the guests sweet tooth, but this starlet wants something different.
The famous starlet told us that she believes that her mom has something planned for her special birthday – which we are hoping that she is planning an unforgettable party for her – but the little teen star told us that she will be rehearsing for her upcoming tour and maybe and night go and have a quiet dinner with her family and maybe her loving boyfriend, Justin Bieber, might join them for the festivities. Both ways we know it will be a spectacular celebration and the birthday girl will enjoy it as much as every girl her age.
Happy Birthday Selena! We hope that you have an amazing birthday celebration whichever way you decide to celebrate![eventnow.com]

Justin Bieber: I'll sing for Harper
Justin Bieber has promised to give an exclusive performance for the Beckham boys, and their newborn sister Harper Seven.
Baby Harper may be only a week old, but she has already secured a special dedication from the teenage pop star and his girlfriend Selena Gomez - in exchange for some football lessons from footballer dad David.
"I've agreed to give the boys a private concert at their house - if David gives me some private soccer lessons!" Justin told Closer.
"David's an amazing dad, and he told me how happy it would make the boys, so I had to say yes. Maybe now they have a girl, Selena will have to come too, and dedicate a song to Harper.
The 17-year-old singer added: "David tells me my records are always played in their household, and David and Victoria are both really cool, so I'm happy to oblige."
Justin met the Beckhams at one of his gigs and have remained friends with the British couple and their sons - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and six-year-old Cruz.
"Romeo got a special little message from @justinbieber!! Thank u @justinbieber for the boys signed guitars!!! they are so happy!!!!!!! X VB," tweeted Victoria in June.[independent.ie]

Justin Bieber’s diva-sized ego tempered by Selena Gomez
Justin Bieber is one of the biggest superstars on the planet, but a number of sources close to the musical phenom report Bieber’s diva-like behavior has been showcasing an ego as large as his worldwide popularity.
While the pop star’s outbursts — like when he blasted a BET Awards show official Sunday for refusing to admit a Bieber bodyguard — are regular occurrences, one Bieber buddy has another take on it all.
“Yes, Justin can get testy at times, but who wouldn’t considering he is hounded by the paparazzi and other media types 24/7. Remember, he’s just a kid and, I think, is extremely mature for someone his age,” the source said.
Another source on Team Bieber reveals the singer has a calming influence: his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
“Maybe it’s because she ‘gets’ it, fully understands the whole fame thing because she deals with it herself,” said the Bieber defender. “But boy, she sure can make him laugh at the insanity of it all, and get him to relax and have fun.”
NOTHING ILLEGAL: Tobey Maguire’s lawyers have responded to a lawsuit filed against the “Spider-Man” star in connection with a bankruptcy case involving a claim that a now-jailed investment manager misappropriated funds to pay Maguire’s supposed $300,000 winnings in an illegal poker game.
Maguire’s filing categorically denies he has ever participated in “controlled games,” which require the host to have a license.
As first reported by TMZ, Maguire also denies he’s ever done anything illegal or attempted to defraud anyone, though he did admit to “being invited” to participate in the poker games in question.
TAKE A BOW: After all the bizarre Charlie Sheen news, it’s nice to report the actor’s class-act father, Martin Sheen, will be the honoree at the Chicago International Film Festival’s annual summer gala. The Aug. 19 fete at the AMC River East and Sheraton Chicago will feature the Chicago premiere of “The Way,” starring Sheen and directed by his far less controversial son, actor and director Emilio Estevez. The evening will include a special father and son conversation between Sheen and Estevez — plus a presentation of the festival’s career achievement award to the star of “The West Wing,” “The Departed” and “Apocalypse Now.”
† Meanwhile, that other Sheen son — the notorious Charlie — is said to have mixed feelings about his ex-wife, Denise Richards, adopting a new baby. While he’s happy for the actress, he reportedly has some concerns about less attention being paid to the former couple’s daughters, Sam and Lola.
ROMANCE FILE: A longtime friend of Jennifer Aniston tells me the actress’ pals “couldn’t be happier” about her fast-moving relationship with Justin Theroux. Along with all the obvious physical attraction stuff, the duo reportedly share two big interests: animals and interior design.
Aniston’s feelings really deepened thanks to Theroux’s sensitive support after she lost her beloved pooch, Norman — whose name she has had tattooed on her foot.
OFF SHORE: Notice to the “Jersey Shore” cast — A number of Florence, Italy, merchants are claiming the reality show stars “borrowed” clothing, shoes and gift items while in the Tuscan city, but now have left town with those bills unpaid.
CHANGING PLACES: NBC’s Chris Hansen, who long has fronted the “Dateline” feature “To Catch a Predator,” using hidden cameras to trap men seeking sexual connections with minors, allegedly has been caught himself doing something inappropriate by a hidden camera.
The National Enquirer is touting its “sting” of Hansen — supposedly secretly filming the married broadcaster in a tryst with a former NBC intern (now a Florida TV reporter), 20 years his junior.
Neither Hansen nor NBC has commented on the Enquirer story.
SEEN ON THE SCENE: Veteran actor Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future,” “Taxi”) was spied lunching outside at Gibsons on Rush, where Oscar nominee Michael Shannon dined Tuesday. . . .
Natalie Cole made the scene at Hugo’s Frog Bar. . . . The Bulls’ Jannero Pargo checked out LuxBar. . . . Yes, that was LeAnn Rimes lunching at Rosebud on Rush’s patio.
FUNNY STUFF: The iO comedy theater is launching “Next Week in Review,” a new monthly topical revue mirroring that groundbreaking British TV show from the ’60s, “That Was the Week That Was,” hosted by David Frost.
Considering the youth of iO’s core audience, the concept won’t be retro — but totally new — when it bows July 15 in the club’s Del Close Theater, 3541 N. Clark. [suntimes.com]
