No Place Like ‘Home for the Holidays’ for Justin Bieber

No Place Like ‘Home for the Holidays’ for Justin Bieber

After a whirlwind year that included the debut of his movie "Never Say Never," the conclusion of his international "My World" tour, accusations that he fathered a child (whoops, that's probably a sore spot!), and coupledom with teen queen Selena Gomez, pop star Justin Bieber headed exactly where he wanted to be for the holidays: home. On Wednesday, the 17-year-old spent the day out and about in his native Canada for some holiday fun.

First, the crooner fulfilled every hockey fan's dream when he hit the ice with the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre, then made a donation at the Daily Bread Food Bank. Later, the Biebs did what he does best and performed at the city's Massey Hall to film a TV special, "Justin Bieber: Home for the Holidays." (The full special will air for the Great White North audiences on MuchMusic and CTV on Thursday.) Justin seemed, well, right at home during the concert near his Stratford, Ontario, hometown, even bringing his little sister, 3-year-old Jazmyn, onstage for a solid five minutes. And yes, as you can imagine, it was adorable!

The show, which also featured Bieber's renditions of his new hit "Mistletoe" and oldies but goodies like "Baby," was all for a good cause. Proceeds from the sales of the heartthrob's holiday album, Under the Mistletoe, and the concert will benefit the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. He even gave an oversized $500,000 check to a few smiling kids on behalf of the organization during the festivities.

"Tonight was special," he tweeted later. "No rules. Music, family, friends, fans, charity, and music. Thank you. #HomeForTheHolidays"

Let's hope Canadian Beliebers will send Bieber back to the U.S. in 2012![omg.yahoo.com]
