Jenny McCarthy : Jim Carrey Turned His Back on My Autistic Son

Jenny McCarthy : Jim Carrey Turned His Back on My Autistic Son
She couldn't help but get emotional during her Monday Howard Stern interview when the host asked after her ex, Jim Carrey.

McCarthy, who dated the 50-year-old comedian for more than five years, says Carrey -- who has spoken publicly before about his lifelong struggle with depression -- has completely turned his back on McCarthy's autistic son Evan, 10, following their 2010 split.

"I've tried to ask [Jim] numerous times [to see Evan], because my son still asks," the Love in the Wild host, 39, told Stern, adding that Evan tells her he misses Carrey "almost weekly."

McCarthy revealed that, while she doesn't feel like she can communicate with Carrey herself, she's gone through "channels" in an attempt to convince the actor to talk to her son.

"I haven't [reached out directly] . . . I think that sometimes people need to take a real break from each other," she explained. "But I still love him. I think you can love people from a distance and respect him.

But as a mother, you just hope when you have a relationship with someone, it has nothing to do with the child when you break up."

Added the former Playboy model (who also revealed she lets Evan watch her ex's films), "I tell [Evan] that someday you'll cross paths, meet again. . . [but] it's hard. He's been in therapy. It's a process, he's working on it."

Even though she hates the impact her breakup has had on her child, McCarthy says she still doesn't regret her and Carrey's decision to part ways.

"Jim's a dark guy," Stern remarked during their discussion.

"As you get older, Howard, you kind of get to see things more clearly," McCarthy explained about moving on from her ex-love. "Hopefully you get happier [over time], and I am so much happier."

Contributing to McCarthy's happiness? Her new relationship with Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher.

Her rep confirmed to E! News recently that the model and NFL player are indeed a couple. McCarthy and Urlacher, who have been dating quietly since April, made their public debut together during a date night last month at Giuliana and Bill Rancic's Chicago eatery, RPM Italian.

Later that week, McCarthy played coy when asked about her new man at an autism charity event.[usmagazine.com]

Pregnant Drew Barrymore Displays Growing Bump in Flirty, Belted Dress

Pregnant Drew Barrymore Displays Growing Bump in Flirty, Belted Dress
She a happy mama-to-be in springtime!

On Monday, a pregnant Drew Barrymore hit the gardens of the Huntington Library in San Marino, Calif. for a photo shoot.

Although still mum on her pregnancy, the Big Miracle star, 37, embraced her newfound curves in a breezy, pink, long-sleeve dress -- complete with a black belt at the waist that accentuated her expanding bump. In another shot, the actress (who will wed the baby's dad, art consultant Will Kopelman, next month) absolutely beamed as she held a parasol for the quaint shoot.

"She is so thrilled to be expecting," a source told the latest Us Weekly of Barrymore. As she prepares for impending motherhood, the star is also just as hard at work planning her June walk down the aisle.

According to a source, the mom-to-be will don Chanel for her ceremony, to be held at her Montecito, Calif., home. (Her future father-in-law, Arie Kopelman, is the former CEO of the fashion house.)

Barrymore -- who began dating her man in January 2011 and accepted Kopelman's proposal a year later -- is in full-tilt wedding planning mode.

The twice-divorced actress "is really focused on the wedding right now," says the friend. "She will be even more excited about the baby after that!"[usmagazine.com]

Jennifer Lopez Wears Skintight Bondage Dress After Marc Anthony Files for Divorce

Jennifer Lopez Wears Skintight Bondage Dress After Marc Anthony Files for Divorce
Wednesday was a sad milestone for Jennifer Lopez, with estranged husband Marc Anthony filing divorce papers nine months after they announced their separation.

But the 42-year-old, who shares 4-year-old twins Max and Emme with Anthony, 43, didn't let the blues show as she reported to work on American Idol.

The judge looked absolutely stunning in one of her sexiest looks yet: a skintight mesh and leather bondage dress, complimented with flawless makeup and a "Love" necklace around her neck.

And it was otherwise business as usual for Lopez on Wednesday's performance show -- and the competitors marveled to reporters about the singer's professional attitude despite Wednesday's big news.

"Jennifer is a superstar," Colton Dixon said backstage. "I never would've known from her attitude tonight that that was released today. She's a class act and so genuine, she's a very independent woman and she knows how to handle herself."

Lopez's consolation prize, of course, is hot new beau Casper Smart, a frequent fixture on the Idol set.

"They are cute together!" Jessica Sanchez gushed of dancer Smart, 25.

In his divorce filing, Anthony asked for joint legal and physical custody of the twins, and requested that each party pay for their own legal fees.[usmagazine.com]

Heidi Klum Files for Divorce From Seal

Heidi Klum Files for Divorce From Seal
Heidi Klum is officially ready to move on after splitting from her husband of seven years Seal.

On Friday, the Project Runway hostess, 38, cited "irreconcilable differences" in papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, TMZ reports. Her filing comes nearly three months after the couple announced their separation.

According to Klum's filing -- processed with the help of famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser -- the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place and will retain their separate assets and property.

TMZ reports that Klum is requesting primary physical custody of the couple's four children -- Leni, 7 1/2 Henry, 6 1/2, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2 -- with Seal, 49, getting visitation rights.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the couple told Us Weekly in a joint statement in January when announcing that they were calling it quits.

"We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart," their statement continued. "This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition."[usmagazine.com]

Kris Humphries "Doing Anything He Can" to Humiliate Kim Kardashian Post-Split

Kris Humphries "Doing Anything He Can" to Humiliate Kim Kardashian Post-Split
Six months after confirming the end of their marriage, Kris Humphries is still out to get Kim Kardashian.

As the couple's divorce takes far more than twice as long as their 72-day marriage, insiders tell the new issue of Us Weekly New Jersey Nets player Humphries has a master plan to destroy his reality star ex.

Though the 27-year-old NBA star initially tried to stall the divorce by filing for an annulment based on fraud, Humphries has since changed his tune, doing whatever he can to keep his name in the headlines. "He's doing anything he can to get her attention," a Kardashian confidant tells the new issue of Us Weekly. "She would grant a divorce in a second. But he won't sign the papers. He won't let go."

Among Humphries' tactics to get his ex's attention: making bizarre legal demands that threaten to expose the Kardashian family, like reportedly requesting in February that the divorce proceedings be televised.

Despite his actions, a Humphries source insists the basketball player is a good guy. "Kris is not a conniving person; he just wants to clear his name because it was tarnished," says the source.

But a Kardashian insider disagrees, telling Us that back-and-forth-fighting plays into his plan. "Kris wants money and he wants fame."

After what she went through with Humphries, "Kim doesn't care if she never sees another camera again," says a source of the 31-year-old mogul, who recently launched her True Reflection perfume. "She is just a totally different person."

Argues Kardashian herself: "I have no regrets, as crazy as that might sound. What you do with these experiences makes you a better, stronger person."[usmagazine.com]

Russell Brand files for divorce from Katy Perry

Russell Brand has announced he has filed for divorce from US singer Katy Perry after 14 months of marriage. The couple met in 2008 and married in October 2010 at a resort inside a tiger reserve in India.

The comedian filed divorce papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

In a statement the 36-year-old said: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

The announcement comes after speculation in the press about the state of their relationship.

The couple spent Christmas apart, Brand was pictured in Cornwall while Perry was seen spending it with friends in Hawaii - neither was wearing a wedding ring.

Brand made his US breakthrough presenting the MTV awards in 2008, causing outrage when he branded then-President George W Bush "a retarded cowboy fella" who "wouldn't be trusted with scissors" in England.

Despite the controversy, he was asked back in 2009 and went on to score acting roles in Hollywood comedies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

This year Brand played the animated heir to the Easter Bunny's throne in the family film "Hop" and took on the title role in "Arthur", a reimagining of the 1981 Dudley Moore classic.

Perry's run of No. 1 singles earned her the distinction of becoming MTV's first artist of the year earlier this month.

When she hosted the US comedy show "Saturday Night Live" on December 10 she gave no indication the couple was in trouble.[bbc.co.uk]

Kim Kardashian Tells Kris Humphries : "Don't Lie to Me!"

Kris Humphries is a party animal.

On Sunday's Kim and Kourtney Take New York, Kim Kardashian's then-husband found himself caught in a lie and tried to use Scott Disick as a cover-up.

Against Disick's better judgement, he let the NBA player throw a raucous party at the New York City penthouse apartment they share with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian when the women were out of town.

Though Disick was initially willing to take the blame for the bash -- which Kim found out about after seeing images of other women in her suite posted online -- Humphries eventually came clean.

"There were girls here taking pictures. Scott told me he had some people over," Kim, 31, told Humphries during a fiery confrontation.

"Don't blame Scott, he was just doing the right thing. I had people over," replied Humphries, who had so many people over that he ran out of cups and offered one guest Kourtney's son Mason's sippy cup to drink out of. "I take full responsibility -- I'm sorry. I had a handful of people over with their friends and we were hanging out. Maybe someone got invited that shouldn't have."

But Kim wasn't satisfied with his apology.

Fumed the reality star: "No one is allowed in our suite! This is my private space. Don't lie to me!"

Sunday's episode wasn't the first time Humphries' hard-partying ways got him into hot water with his wife.

Just two months into their infamous 72-day marriage, the couple "had it out" over the fact that Humphries -- then unemployed due to the NBA lockout -- was partying and going out on the town on his wife's dime.

"She told him he needs to do something productive...He needs to get off his ass, like, yesterday," a family friend told Us Weekly at the time.[usmagazine.com]

Will Kardashian Backlash Hurt ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’?

Will Kardashian Backlash Hurt ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’?

I have a confession -- make that konfession: I don't mind the Kardashians. While I roll my eyes at how willing Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and all the rest are to constantly step into the spotlight, I admit that I'm fascinated that they've managed to turn acting like a more exaggerated version of themselves into a multimillion dollar empire.

So when a friend asked me to join her for a book signing with the trio in L.A., I agreed.

Part of me was curious about whether the alleged Kardashian backlash would hurt the turnout. It was sparked by a story you've heard plenty of times by now: Kim's decision to file for divorce on October 31 from NBA player Kris Humphries, her husband of just 72 days whom she wed in a super-hyped, two-part TV wedding special.

More than 150,000 people have reportedly signed an online petition urging E! to stop airing "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

Kris Humphries and Scott Disick co-star. Timothy White/E! Entertainment
But none of this seemed to have any effect on the reality stars' adoring fans, who lined up by the hundreds to have their copy of "Dollhouse" signed by the sisters. Unfortunately, Kim canceled when she cleared her schedule through the holidays, presumably because she's upset about the split. Kourtney was caught in traffic, so she arrived after the first half hour ... which was longer than we were willing to stay.

However, Khloe was there in full effect, shorter and slimmer than we expected from photos, and whisked through the store with security, politely waving and cooing "hi" to the mostly tween and teen girls (and guys!) there. Some people in the crowd were clapping, a few were shrieking "Khloe," and cell phone cameras went off like crazy. I've been to plenty of book signings, but none of them had been as chaotic as this.

So much for the Kardashian backlash! After that experience, I don't care what people say about being sick of the Kardashians. I still think we're interested in them.

And I believe that the family's latest show, "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," will be bigger than ever. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" season finale in September, which showed Kris proposing to Kim, was watched by more than 3.3 million people -- 9 percent higher than the season's average. The preview for the new season of the NYC show offers a peek at what went wrong between the newlyweds, so I'm just guessing that plenty of peeps will still be willing to tune in. Will you?[omg.yahoo.com]

Marc Anthony's Post-Split Project

Marc Anthony's Post-Split Project

Marc Anthony has been busy in the wake of his split with Jennifer Lopez. Since the two announced they would be divorcing after seven years of marriage in July, the singer has planned a tour, which begins Friday in New Jersey, and, more importantly for fans of fashion, launched his own clothing line at Kohl's in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Wednesday. The couple had planned to debut his-and-hers lifestyle brands since November 2010, and apparently decided to go ahead with it even after parting ways.

Although Marc, 42, told "Extra" he never expected to create his own clothing line, respected designer Tommy Hilfiger changed his mind when he called the singer and told him he represents a certain style. Marc admits that J.Lo had something to do with it, too. "I always had Jennifer as a soundboard and vice versa," he says.

The result is the Marc Anthony Collection of dress shirts, blazers, jeans, accessories, and more. Ranging in price from $28 to $225, the singer says the looks are the "perfect combination of quality, price point, and look and feel." As Marc explains, "People don't want cheap clothes for cheap ... They want great quality clothes for cheap. That was my mission from the beginning, and we were able to pull it off." The collection is available this month at Kohl's stores.[omg.yahoo.com]

Gibson to pay ex-girlfriend 'Oksana Grigorieva' $750,000 in settlement

LOS ANGELES - Mel Gibson will pay $750,000 to his ex-girlfriend and continue to provide housing and financial support for their young daughter to resolve a bitter legal fight that followed sexist, racist rants attributed to the actor.

The settlement disclosed Wednesday is intended to end the bickering and accusations that have permeated the case handled in mostly secret proceedings for more than a year, Superior Court Judge Peter Lichtman said.

Gibson's payments to Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva are dependent on a lasting truce.

As part of the agreement, their daughter will receive support equal to what the actor-director provides for his other seven children. The former couple will split custody of the girl, who turns 2 in late October.

In addition, Gibson will keep paying for a multimillion house he purchased for Grigorieva and their daughter. The house will be sold when the girl turns 18 and she will receive the proceeds.

As a result of the settlement, Grigorieva cannot pursue a civil case against the Oscar winner, and both sides were ordered not to speak or write about their relationship or allegations of domestic abuse.

Lichtman specifically said neither side could release any audio recordings, an apparent reference to the series of rants that were leaked to the celebrity website RadarOnline.com.

"You look like a (expletive) bitch in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of (N-word), it will be your fault," the voice is heard telling Grigorieva in one tape. "You provoked it. You are provocatively dressed."

In another snippet released by the website, Grigorieva is heard describing how Gibson hit her in the face, and she questions his manhood. The response: "You know what, you ... (expletive) deserved it!"

Gibson has never publicly discussed the recordings and his attorneys did not refute they were the actor during a May court hearing in which Grigorieva agreed not to introduce them as evidence in the custody case.

Grigorieva's payments were divided into thirds, with the final payment occurring in 2016 if the agreement is not breached.

Her attorney, Daniel Horowitz, disputed reports that the settlement was a bad deal for his client. He told The Associated Press that he estimated the actual value of the deal to be worth about $5 million when rights to Grigorieva's music and her ability to live in her current home rent-free are factored in.

Celebrity website TMZ and the Los Angeles Times reported that the musician walked away from a deal worth at least $15 million last year. Horowitz said that agreement would have been subject to taxes, a longer payout period and other offsets that would have reduced its value.

The $750,000 that Grigorieva receives under the current agreement will not be taxed.

Gibson spoke a handful of times during the hearing, mainly to acknowledge he understood terms of the settlement.

"I'd like to say thanks your honor for bringing this matter to a reasonable conclusion," the "Braveheart" star said.

Grigorieva also thanked the judge and said she hoped the resolution meant Gibson's career could resume.

She previously accused Gibson of striking her during a fight in January 2010, and the actor-director pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor domestic battery earlier this year.

Sheriff's detectives also investigated Gibson's claims that Grigorieva attempted to extort him, but prosecutors declined to file charges.

Gibson's attorneys are still working to finalize his divorce from his wife of nearly 28 years.

Laura Wasser, who represents Gibson's wife Robyn, told a judge Tuesday that they were putting the finishing touches on the divorce judgment and it should be completed in a few weeks.[omg.yahoo.com]

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith : ‘We Are Still Together’

Will and Jada Smith have issued a statement confirming they are still together after a report surfaced on Tuesday suggesting their 13-year marriage had come to an end.

“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” Will and Jada said in a joint statement, issued to Access Hollywood.

On Tuesday morning, InTouch Weekly claimed the Hollywood superstar couple has decided to split after 13 years of marriage.

Will, 42, and Jada, 39, tied the knot in 1997. They have two children together – Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. Will also has a son, Trey, 18, from a previous marriage.

Will’s previous marriage to Sheree Zampino lasted from 1992 to 1995.

Will and Jada reportedly met when Jada auditioned for a role on Will’s long-running series “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”

Back in 2008, Will opened up about his marriage during a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and at the time, said “divorce is not an option.”

“What I found is divorce just can’t be an option,” Will told Ellen at the time. “It’s really that simple. And I think that’s the problem with L.A. – there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options.”

In 2005, Access spoke with Will while he was promoting “Hitch” to talk about the secret to making a marriage work.

“Jada and I spend a lot of time studying relationships and why things work and why things don’t work,” Will told Access Hollywood at the time.

“You’ve gotta love every aspect, you’ve gotta love it from every angle,” Will later added.

Meanwhile, Jada said one of the secrets to the couple’s success was finding time – and a place – for each other.

“You have to be willing to move around — to move your romance around. Kitchen, closet, park, parked car,” she laughed during the “Collateral” junket in 2004. “You’d be surprised!”[accesshollywood.com]

Jennifer Lopez Video Hunk, William Levy, Sued By Teen For Sexual Battery

Jennifer Lopez did not have sex with her music video co-star, hunky model/novela actor, William Levy, but someone else did. Unfortunately, it wasn't consensual. And the girl was underage.

Shocking allegations have been made against William Levy, the buff, handsome Latin soap star known as the "Brad Pitt of Cuba," who appeared in Jennifer Lopez's I'm Into You music video. Levy has been mentioned in the press as the possible cause of J-Lo and Marc Anthony's sudden divorce--a rumor which he has denied. Now it seems, he has other problems far worse than a rumored affair with the American Idol star. He's embroiled in a scandal of his own. And it's a biggie.

Levy is being sued for sexual battery of a minor whom he allegedly "lured" to his Hilton Hotel room, where he "forced [her] to perform [sex act] on him, strangling her in the process, [and] e****lated in her mouth, on her person, through which he transmitted a sexual disease..." Goodness. If all that's true, Levy is a one man crime wave. The alleged victim who was taken to an emergency room is suing for $2.5 million.

Of course, Levy denies it. Or most of it anyway. In his version, the teen girl went to his room where she "willfully, fraudulently, and maliciously deceived [him] into believing that she was a 19-year-old consenting adult," and then "gave consent to any and all alleged acts." He also claims her physical and emotional distress were "self-inflicted"--whatever that means--and that she tried to blackmail him for $950,000. He is counter suing for "defamation and extortion."

If the accusations against William Levy are true, it's a good thing Jennifer Lopez's relationship with him never progressed beyond the purely professional level. But then, considering his alleged sexual proclivities, J-Lo's a little too old for him. He wouldn't have been into her.[celebs.gather.com]
