Jennifer Lopez Wears Skintight Bondage Dress After Marc Anthony Files for Divorce
Jennifer Lopez Wears Skintight Bondage Dress After Marc Anthony Files for Divorce
Wednesday was a sad milestone for Jennifer Lopez, with estranged husband Marc Anthony filing divorce papers nine months after they announced their separation.
But the 42-year-old, who shares 4-year-old twins Max and Emme with Anthony, 43, didn't let the blues show as she reported to work on American Idol.
The judge looked absolutely stunning in one of her sexiest looks yet: a skintight mesh and leather bondage dress, complimented with flawless makeup and a "Love" necklace around her neck.
And it was otherwise business as usual for Lopez on Wednesday's performance show -- and the competitors marveled to reporters about the singer's professional attitude despite Wednesday's big news.
"Jennifer is a superstar," Colton Dixon said backstage. "I never would've known from her attitude tonight that that was released today. She's a class act and so genuine, she's a very independent woman and she knows how to handle herself."
Lopez's consolation prize, of course, is hot new beau Casper Smart, a frequent fixture on the Idol set.
"They are cute together!" Jessica Sanchez gushed of dancer Smart, 25.
In his divorce filing, Anthony asked for joint legal and physical custody of the twins, and requested that each party pay for their own legal fees.[usmagazine.com]

Jennifer Lopez Visits Marc Anthony on His Birthday Weekend
Ready to let bygone be bygones?
On Saturday, the day after he turned 43, Marc Anthony got a very special birthday visit at his Miami home: from Jennifer Lopez, his ex-wife-to-be.
Both Anthony and Lopez, 42, was photographed hanging by the pool with their 3-year-old twins Emme and Max at the sprawling Florida home they once shared. The couple announced the end of their seven-year marriage back in
Lopez, on a break from filming What to Expect When You're Expecting, kept it casual in a blousey white top, shorts, wedges and oversized sunglasses.
The night before, after performing an emotional, sold-out show, the newly-single Anthony partied with about 150 pals at Club 50 (at Miami's Viceroy hotel) -- sipping champagne and beer and chowing down on a birthday cake made by Ace of Cake's Geof Manthorne.
At the bash, Anthony told Us Weekly about his fave b-day present: "Being with my family yesterday, spending time with my kids."
He added that his kids Emme and Max are "beautiful."
Are he and Lopez still good friends? "Absolutely," the Latin crooner told Us.[usmagazine.com ]

Marc Anthony's Post-Split Project
Marc Anthony's Post-Split Project
Marc Anthony has been busy in the wake of his split with Jennifer Lopez. Since the two announced they would be divorcing after seven years of marriage in July, the singer has planned a tour, which begins Friday in New Jersey, and, more importantly for fans of fashion, launched his own clothing line at Kohl's in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Wednesday. The couple had planned to debut his-and-hers lifestyle brands since November 2010, and apparently decided to go ahead with it even after parting ways.
Although Marc, 42, told "Extra" he never expected to create his own clothing line, respected designer Tommy Hilfiger changed his mind when he called the singer and told him he represents a certain style. Marc admits that J.Lo had something to do with it, too. "I always had Jennifer as a soundboard and vice versa," he says.
The result is the Marc Anthony Collection of dress shirts, blazers, jeans, accessories, and more. Ranging in price from $28 to $225, the singer says the looks are the "perfect combination of quality, price point, and look and feel." As Marc explains, "People don't want cheap clothes for cheap ... They want great quality clothes for cheap. That was my mission from the beginning, and we were able to pull it off." The collection is available this month at Kohl's stores.[omg.yahoo.com]

Jennifer Lopez Video Hunk, William Levy, Sued By Teen For Sexual Battery
Jennifer Lopez did not have sex with her music video co-star, hunky model/novela actor, William Levy, but someone else did. Unfortunately, it wasn't consensual. And the girl was underage.Shocking allegations have been made against William Levy, the buff, handsome Latin soap star known as the "Brad Pitt of Cuba," who appeared in Jennifer Lopez's I'm Into You music video. Levy has been mentioned in the press as the possible cause of J-Lo and Marc Anthony's sudden divorce--a rumor which he has denied. Now it seems, he has other problems far worse than a rumored affair with the American Idol star. He's embroiled in a scandal of his own. And it's a biggie.
Levy is being sued for sexual battery of a minor whom he allegedly "lured" to his Hilton Hotel room, where he "forced [her] to perform [sex act] on him, strangling her in the process, [and] e****lated in her mouth, on her person, through which he transmitted a sexual disease..." Goodness. If all that's true, Levy is a one man crime wave. The alleged victim who was taken to an emergency room is suing for $2.5 million.
Of course, Levy denies it. Or most of it anyway. In his version, the teen girl went to his room where she "willfully, fraudulently, and maliciously deceived [him] into believing that she was a 19-year-old consenting adult," and then "gave consent to any and all alleged acts." He also claims her physical and emotional distress were "self-inflicted"--whatever that means--and that she tried to blackmail him for $950,000. He is counter suing for "defamation and extortion."
If the accusations against William Levy are true, it's a good thing Jennifer Lopez's relationship with him never progressed beyond the purely professional level. But then, considering his alleged sexual proclivities, J-Lo's a little too old for him. He wouldn't have been into her.[celebs.gather.com]

Jennifer Lopez to land $1million for wedding gig in Ukraine
The singer is set to get away from America and her now-estranged husband Marc Anthony for a £620,000 job as a wedding singer in the Ukraine.
‘It’s a wealthy guy who wanted J.Lo and was willing to pay top dollar,’ a source told E! News.
Her three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, won’t be heading to eastern Europe to watch her, insiders said. ‘Terms of the deal cannot be confirmed,’ a spokesperson for the 41-year-old If You Had My Love singer said.
J.Lo’s hasty exit comes after she and Anthony made the ‘painful’ decision to call it a day at the weekend after seven years together.
Her stylist, Phillip Bloch, claimed her third husband, 42-year-old Latin singer Anthony, had been ‘very controlling’ of his wife.
The £240million pair also clashed about which of their huge houses to live in, it was claimed.
Lopez wanted to stay at their Malibu pad in Los Angeles but Anthony longed for life in his native New York.[metro.co.uk]

Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony divorce
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s surprise announcement Friday — that they were splitting — caught off-guard even some of the couple’s very close friends and associates.
However, a longtime J. Lo pal told me Sunday, “I know Marc’s short fuse and explosive temper has been an issue. I’ve always thought Jennifer had learned to deal with that.
“After all, it’s not like she’s not one to handle herself in big verbal battle,” added the friend. “She can let loose herself. … I’ve seen her launch some pretty strong screaming matches!”
That said, only a tiny handle of folks — in Lopez and Anthony’s very tight inner circle — were aware of the couple’s decision to end their marriage after seven years and the birth of their twins Max and Emme, now age 3. While there were hints — Lopez attending the Prince William and Duchess Katherine gala July 9 with her mom as her date and a July 4 party with only her kids — no one picked up on it.
“That’s not surprising. … Their separate careers often prevented them from attending social affairs together,” said an “American Idol” staffer who has come to know Lopez well.
† Speaking of work, I’ve been told by a reliable source close to both artists they will continue to work together on “Q’Viva! The Chosen,” the competition show seeking undiscovered talent across Latin America. While the show has yet to be sold to a network — or even begin filming — deadline.com reports the couple “will work on it as planned.”
As for “Idol,” while E! News and other outlets have reported that Lopez has a deal in place to return for the hit series’ 11th season, there has yet to be an official announcement that she’ll rejoin fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler — who both have confirmed they will be back for the new season.
† While rumors already are flying about a new Lopez romance — with telenovela star William Levy, with whom she filmed that very sexy video for her “I’m Into You” single — a key member of Team Lopez told me Sunday not “to jump to any conclusion. … I think this is just about a marriage falling apart for other reasons after seven years.”
However, when I asked if it was just a coincidence that Levy and his wife, Mexican actress Elizabeth Gutierrez, also had just separated, my source said, “I really can’t comment on that.”
BABY BEAT: Congrats to real estate queen Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner on the arrival of their first child.
Trump gave birth Sunday morning, and almost immediately tweeted, “This morning [Jared] and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby girl into the world…We feel incredibly grateful and blessed.”
The “Apprentice” mainstay and Kushner were married in October 2009.
QUITE A MILESTONE! A large collection of industrialist Fred Gohl’s good friends gathered for the heartwarming, elegant fete his wife Susan hosted Saturday night at the Ritz-Carlton — a terrific toast to Fred’s 95th birthday.
In his invocation, Msgr. Ken Velo had the crowd chuckling when he quipped, “I imagine when Fred’s mother gave birth — on that summer day in 1916 — she must have thought, ‘My, it’s been eight years since the Cubs won the World Series!’ ”
TUNE TIMES: Chicago jazz singing fave Spider Saloff is just back from Down Under, where she performed her one-woman musical, “The Roar of the Butterfly” in Melbourne, Australia.
Saloff will perform the show at the Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood in August, with hopes to bring it to Chicago for a longer run.
† Our Town’s cabaret mainstays Nan Mason and Terry Higgins will be back at the Drake Hotel on Saturday (plus July 29, Aug. 13 and Aug. 27).
† The “Monday Night Live” cabaret-style, “open mike” program at Petterino’s — hosted by Denise McGowan Tracy and Beckie Menzie — will showcase select cast members from “West Side Story,” coming to the Cadillac Palace through Aug. 14.
SEEN ON THE SCENE: While Matthew Lewis made the rounds here Friday — boosting his eighth and final outing as Neville Longbottom in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” — the actor made a late-night stop at Hub 51 and nearby Studio Paris. … Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, who grew up in Park Forest, was spied enjoying drinks with fans at the Original Mother’s. … Chicago-bred ex-NBA player (and current Comcast SportsNet analyst) Kendall Gill was seen dining at Holy Mackerel! in Lombard. … Miller Beer’s popular man-about-town Fritzy Konstantelos hosted Richard Dent at Gene & Georgetti’s — toasting the Bear great’s upcoming Aug. 8 induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
